The antlers are streching, and streching... getting kinda boring :horse:
The turkey tail is producing some interesting fruitbody development. The spawn i got was one year old, perhaps thats the reason.
Managed to get 20 more jars, so iam going to start cooking again.
Enjoy

Those antlers are anything but boring  and the turkey tails are going to look awesome at full formation.

That reminds me, I saw a log up the road that was pinning a week ago. It was covered in Trametes last autumn. I think a little walk in the morning is in order.;)
Mmm go for it man! Interesting that we hardly found any wild trametes last year. Wasnt exactly looking for them but regardless we have stumbled upon them in previous years.

Thanks for sharing.
When these start putting out spores, you're going
to have quite a mess. Have you figured out how
to handle?

Thanks man!
Spores have and will be a problem. I have never grown so many reishi at once so it should be quite overwhelming if they start conk formation. Iam going to install a small filter on my outtake fan, pretty much a pvc pipe section with pollyfill stuffed in tight. Nothing fancy but it should clean the outcoming air somewhat.
Furthermore if we do see some conk formation I will place plastic sections on the racks and the floor. They should get covered in plenty of spores which i will then collect by washing off, and then drying the liquid. Spores then can be made into a tincture which can be consumed in need of an extra strong imuno boost.
