I took the poo placed it in a roasting pan, brought it to the corect moisture level, Covered with foil and baked for 2 hours at 170 F.
Then I took two quarts of WBS that was fully colonized and emptied it into a clean, disinfected plastic shoebox. I added 3 cups of moist coir and then mixed the whole of five pounds of pasturized cooled poo into it. I will cover it with the lid and place in incubation chamber till colonized. I havent decided what to do about casing yet. If anyone has any ideas let me know.
Last pics are of an old school grow that started while I was in Hospital so I just encouraged it. And also a LC of Transkei that Im going to use on some bags of rye.
Wish me Luck.

You said you put the lid on after you spawned. Make sure it can breath or it'll contam with a bacteria most likely. I just like to cover loosely with foil when incubating the spawn run. Or poke some holes in that lid so it can breath.

The trick is to make sure the compost/poo itself gets up to those temps. It can take a a while if you keep the oven at that temp to start. I like to use a thermometer and watch it heat up to the right temp by sticking it down into the middle of my pan(s), then lower the oven temps and hold the pans there at that temp.

frankie, texans love the poo, at least horse poop. Here are some texans from a little grow, the dimensions were about 7wx10lx1h. Yielded about 18 dry grams.
Is that a clone or multispore? Thats a hell of a pinset.

There is already some primordia formation and the substrate is not fully collonized yet.

These two mini logs are also Texans. I added a cup of BRF to the straw and WBS when putting them together and left them in the bags till the pins started to form as Freakachino recommended. I am much happier with the pin set this time.

These are some Texan Nugs that I put together on a whim. The straw is shredded very finely and they have alot of WBS spawn in them. A quart per 1\2 gal. container. I really like the pinset on these as well. I think the really fine straw made a difference.

I think in about 10 days I should be up to my ass in Texans. I hope all my practice with straw pays off when I get my edible cultures.
Hope the pics dont suck too bad Im still learning with the new cam.

It seems like Texas can pretty much average an eighth dry off of one pf cake and you can get that 3 times from 3 flushes. Not bad for one cake to average about a 10g dry yield.
