Guys, Im SERIOUSLY considering putting in that 250 HPS, I think I can keep it plenty cool with enough passive intake holes, my glass heat shield, and the 78cfm 120 mm independant exhaust fan. I might give it a shot and monitor it all day to see how the temps get ....
Also ... if I had to I have a 175 cfm 4" dayton fan just sitting unused that I could hook up to the light chamber to really get some cooling power? I think I can keep the bulb about 4.5" away from the tops ..

I think it was the right decision the extra penetration and lumens are going to do wonders. Ill be watching the temps closely throughout today but so far the bulb is completely cool as is the exhaust air.

So far so good ..... Im excited now I bet they start to fatten up nice. However, Im on time constraints so I have to pull them in exactly 27 days, for better or worse, thats all I can give them ... that will be one day shy of 9 weeks so Im not sure how it will turn out???

Like as far as W/sqft?

Well it might not be efficient, but more PAR light = more bud.
You have got yourself a very fine grow chamber.

Edit: Also about Ozzz's question about harvest date. While I would normally advocate using a 100x microscope to look at the trichomes and harvest when they were all cloudy and just starting to turn amber, with the time constraints, you're going to want to give them 24hrs of total darkness prior to harvest to increase trichome production on your buds, also, I cant remember the name of the product, maybe another member here may be able to remind me of it, but theres a liquid nutrient that you feed a week before you WANT to harvest, and it will cause your plant to start maturing and preparing for harvest(as in the changing of the trichomes colors to indicate peak potency and desired effect of a heady high or a couchlock high)

Im moving to Hawaii on Feb 18th so there is no if's, and's, or butt's... these beetches are getting yanked on the 13th, Ill probably flash dry a bud and try it out, then the rest goes to a friend to be properly cured and as a nice parting gift.
Later, Ill shoot for a real run with my 400w HPS.
I do want them to be all they can be of course, but I gotta yank when I yank so they get 9 weeks and no more, unfortunately....

I'm trying, this coming weekend, using one 400 Watt HPS in a superior position and 8 T-12 widespectrum fluoros in a lateral position to augment the walls of my grow room/tent.

I think I just completely jacked my grow up guys ..... what do you think?
Heres the deal, yesterday I checked in on my girls that were doing great, as always, I switched the override off on the timer so the light didnt blind me. I watered and checked on the girls then put them back in and FORGOT TO TURN THE LIGHT BACK ON. So about 3 PM yesterday or so, the lights went out when usually they go off at 7. So they went out 3 hours early. Problem is, then at 7 the timer switched and turned the lights back on and I went out last night, didnt get home till 7 a.m. and the fkn lights were ON!!!
I shut them off, now they are on again on a normal schedule .... what is this going to do? Hermies ????????

Heres both plants:
Plant one, much denser, some hairs turning amber and the branches are starting to bow from the bud weight..
Plant two, has much lighter, more airy buds even though more hairs are turning amber... check out the pics!
