Well, everything went along as planned and the light mess up from above didnt seem to harm them.

For better or for worse, I have to chop on Sunday as I am moving to Hawaii on the 18th.

This gives them EXACTLY 8 weeks of flowering time. The one plant looks ready, and is well developed, the other, definately could use a few more weeks and throughout the entire time seemed to be a few weeks behind. Although shes a few weeks behind she smells great. Unfortunately, these are the cards that Im delt with. This was my first grow, and was meant to be more of a experimental learning curve type grow. I didnt expect to have it turn out this way. Im guessing Ill end up with about 1.5 OZ dried, maybe a bit more or less.

Here are the pics, Ill take chop pics later. Anyone with any tips on how to best prep the buds in the short time frame I have Im all ears. As mentioned, Im chopping on the 7th, I leave on the 18th ... so that gives me only like 11 days to prep. I was thinking I could hang them for about 4 - 5 days or so then jar them up and pop the top for 15 minutes several times a day?? Suggestions in this area are greatly appreciated.

BTW, putting that 250 HPS in there was the best thing I could have done, although the tub did warp a bit from the heat, the temps in the grow chamber were fine. Doing it again I would simply make a grow box from lumber or a dresser.

Once I get settled, my next grow will be about 6 plants under a 400 hps.... and now I know what to do better ;)

Here is the second plant, it definately could have used a few more weeks, so Im guessing will finish more premature then the other. Although the buds are of a decent density, they are no where near as dense, full, and bloated as the first plant. It will be a bit premature, but I still bet it will be decent smoke ..

That was a great project OZZZ,so nice that I think I may try one of these Rubbermaid grows myself.Been a few years since I have used my green thumb,so it is more like a rusty thumb right now.My seed has been germinated though and is under light right now.

Great job and great grow show  Let them hang for a few days then putt hem into some bags.Might speed up the drying.Hippie3 has a thread about curing in a paper bag.It is suppose to speed up the drying process.

dry till the stems snap, then into Mason jars for a cure. "burp" the jars daily for air exchange for 2-3 weeks. then they can just chill in the jar... mine never last that long... ;)

I'm new here, but this makes me want to take up the hobby. Looks like it was fairly easy.

First seedlings sprouted right on thanksgiving day, so from then until that last posting however many days that is.

It was pretty easy! Very in fact, the only thing that even required any effort at all was assembling the contraption and training the plants but still pretty simple. All I did was fertilize with garden tone general veggie granular ferts and in low dosages too... that and a little fish emulsion early on (only 2 very light feedings) and some molasses mixed in the water every now and then (maybe 5 or 6 times total).

Easy shit ... next grow will be under my 400!

Thanks guys! I appreciate the input.

I decided to scrap the 400 and go straight to a digi 600 switchable in a 4x4 area. Im moving back from Hawaii (been here for a few months) and am planning on making a real run this time ;)

Now I gotta just get this mum thing figured out!
