Thank you all for the kind words! I'm happy to report they are dropping spores and making decent, if small, prints. The 11 fruits in the crappy pic below were picked this afternoon weighed in at a whopping 4 grams wet :amazed: Perhaps this entire flush will be 4 grams or so dry, maybe.

So far, these are inconsistently dropping spores. Only two out of 15 or so have left dark prints.

Are you allowing a little air into where you are printing? Sometimes that can help.

I have them covered under wide mouth pint jars, plus I give them air a few times. This morning's batch look like they may be doing a little better.

the way i was shown to place a piece of folded tin foil under one edge. otherwise humidity will build and the spores wont drop.

The first flush turned out to be 5.5g dry. The casing was repaired, hydrated and new pins noted this morning.

Not bad. How potent are the mushrooms of the Galindoi supposed to be? On a par with pans maybe? I'd be very interested in hearing your opinion on the Galindoi vs the Pan. Cyanescens some time, if you're going to assay them. :-) Enjoy!! :teeth:

  • Feb 16: while not as quite a dense pin set as the first flush, the fruit-bodies of second flush are much more robust. I suspect I will have much better luck with spore-prints with this batch!

Upcoming: P. mexicana 'A', P. mexicana 'Jalisco', P. hoogshagenii var. convexa (semperviva), Pan. cambodgeniensis 'Sandose domesticate', Pan. subbalteatus 'MD#19'

Excellent work. Try letting the caps get a bit more plane (flat) before printing and you should get better prints. Your instinct is to harvest them earlier like cubes, but try letting at least a few get older and see how that works for you.

You must be doing your research. All of your upcoming selections are some of the very best exotics ;) Keep up the good work!

Hi Workman. Thank you for the kind words, your comments are appreciated. I will definitely take your advice and hold off on trying to print any of these until the caps are fully expanded.

Understandable that you wouldn't want to eat moo-poo stones...

If I were you, I'd invest in a bottle of everclear and extract the ones you don't
plan on re-seeding, or the ones you have left at the end of this grow.
