store-bought oyster clone ??

so, im trying to make a plan of attack for this sweet little cluster i picked up today. here's the tenative plan: popcorn/coffee grounds - newspaper/alder in paper bags.

this should work, right??

Oysters are very aggressive so you have quite a few options. Myself I like using cardboard ... the clean quality , thick stuff. I use the corregated inner parts only and pasteurize it in boiling water before using.

Egg carton cardboard is very good for oysters as well ...

Newsprint also works good , any paper product really.

i would try an pull a print before i cloned, just incase they have been cultivated to many generation and dont fruit for you. then you could start from some spores.

dunno if there in the store i bet they have life left in them.

if you want to grow oysters, and don't know really where to start. i would dig deep into hyph's posts and soak in a bit of the wonderful and thought out info. he has to offer.
