Psilocybe Caerulescens TONILA Unicorn Mycobag culture.
- Multispore Culture, Spores from Alan Rockefeller's 2009 hunt
- Spelt grain spawn (10days)
- Sterilized (2,5hrs.) Substrate mix: Straw Mix (pellets/cuted pieces) 70%, Conifer wood shavings 20% Horse manure 10%, (12 days)
- Casing layer: Pot Flower Soil / Cocohum Mix, pasteurized
- Temperatures: Spawn 25-26 Degr. Celsius, Fruiting 21-22 Degr. Celsius
- Pins after 22days

Comments:
The spawn is overly wet, therefore only few and too small fruits grow and the stems seem to be too wet. I hope for some more fruits within the next weeks when the culture loses moisture a bit.
They do sporulate well though.

I simply do everything by based on my feelings for the species. I decide if I want to add wood or not and how much manure atm. I mix it in dry form before watering.

Therefore each mycobag's substrate is unique, though nearly all of my grows base mainly on straw.

It looks like they behaved differently for you in your tek - but that may be just the pic....
Did they wad up a bunch in a cluster like landslides do or were they more spaced out in your captivity?
But damn! They do look very good!

Last years Caerus appeared in clusters.




I guess it's something wrong with the moisture level. I bet they'll fruit better with later flushes.
