Awesome haul man! Those are my favorite mushroom species that I have tried so far, what do you think of them?

Dam I am high lol. Didn't see the "haul part". You lucky son of a gun. If I may ask what did you find them growing on, just grass!?

Panaeolus cinctulus is a weed mushie
it grows everywhere! yes!
and it likes growing in grass, especially manicured and fertilized lawns

I cant tell you how many times I have picked hundreds of those things and threw them out because I couldnt find any blue... yet I also remember a few times finding one or two with tiny spot of blue at base.

If you want to find thest things big and strong go to hay and manure piles at farms after 3-4 days of rain any time in the summer spring or sometimes fall. Lawns are easy but they are mixed with foenesecii which have brown spores.

Youre my hero... I love it.

So were those just a couple out of a hundred or were they the whole find that day?

I have seen this too but usually its only one or two out of many.

In fact I remember when this new school was put in a couple of years ago they were all over thier overwatered and new lawn, but in one place up by the front door there was about a ten foot patch that each had blue foots. Wonder why this is.

my crappy 'cd' scale broke, but i deffinently found cinctulus about how many freshies is in 15-20g?

I'm including some more pics, to help document the morphological variation in this species.

The pileus can get very light and cracked in age, it can appear morphologically like Panaeoulus cyanescens but without the heavy bluing.
