Just wanted to share a few pics about my first try with the Orissa strain.
The pinset looks great considering that this is ms not an isolate or clone.

Sub: hpoo/coir/verm + additives(gypsum, beepollen, ground quinoa, shredded coconut, ground flax seed, ground alfalfa pellets)

Spawn: 3 x 720ml jar ----> whole brown rice, verm, water, beepollen, ground quinoa

Pasteurization: 3.5hours in a pillow case.

Anything else? :D

Your additives to the bulk substrate poo/coir/verm do not cause any contam issues for unsterilized additive nutrients? The pasteurization of the additives with the bulk substrate is adequate?

Well a few tubs before i used to drop in the mix ground popcorn also and it worked pretty well...till my bio popcorn ran out. After this i've tried a cheaper popcorn and all of my tubs became contamed with trich thx to them.
At that point i was clueless about what caused the trich cuz i've used everything in the same amounts as before.
Then i've stumbled upon a thread which was about some experiment; professional mushroom(edible) growers used different kind of additives and compared their results, contam rate etc... Too nutritous additives caused higher contam rates of course...it wasnt new to me, but i've never had problems cuz of that much additives.
The point is that since that thread im not using ground popcorn as an additive and voila...no more trich. And im using about 3-400gramms of additives / tub :D

To answer your other question:

The bulk sub is mixed thoroughly with the additives and left to soak for a night, the next day comes the pasteur etc...
