Freakin spectacular Dr. H. It seems you've cought onto the extraction thing quite fast. It took me a few extractions before ever recrystallizing. Im glad it worked well for you. I know what you mean about the fright. I used to get the same reaction. It takes a bit to get comfortable with the spice. I have found the more pure the less fright involved. Just blasted into fractal land. When I first tried spice we all would smoke it in a group setting which I find very distracting and uncomfy. At times people have even gotten a violent "shut the fuck up and leave me alone feeling" usually at high doses and in a loud atmosphere where people are talking alot and laughing at you. I have found that complete darkness and some music is the best. Usually I do it alone before bed or with a quiet sitter. I have found that to be quite enjoyable at higher doses. BTW impressive yield. Thank You very much Nunyabiz.The first extraction was a bit rough,well more like rushed to be completely honest.But things are rolling along much smother now that's for sure.I figure I am ready to do my mesc extraction now as well,once I get a few materials together for that I will get right on it.

A bit on the fright,I am thankful for it.I am glad I had experienced a bit of fear during my first experience smoking spice,it made me respect it's power that much more.:bow:
I have only smoked it alone,and could not imagine being around a pile of people during a spice trip either.My computer drives me absolutely crazy and it has to be shut down before I blast off,if not I can hear the computer/fans running and humming,it gets very loud,very annoying and becomes a major distraction.
So I dunno about a bunch of people staring and laughing,buy who knows?
I am going to try it with music one day soon and see how that goes lol.

Light VS Dark.

I like there to be some light,not bright lightsbut there has to be a bit of illumination in the room because I also like the way things look while going up and coming down.A small lamp of even candle light.
I love the patters that emerge from my textured walls,the wood floors and all the wood grain comes to life and looks like rolling waves or puff of smoke,I like to watch it move and dance about in my vision.
I also find smoking it outside late at night a real kick.
All the lights from houses and traffic lights and the refelions of light bouncing off of everything is absolutely amazing.

Another recrystallization,still pulling more pure crystals from the collected wax/oil.
You can see in the pictures that after each time I separate I am left with a bit of oil/crystal that still has DMT in it.They are all saved,placed in a glass and done again until I cant see any sparkles left in the oil/powder when I chop it up.
I should get one more small run from the remaining wax I have.

Thank you kocos and Frequency.I am really having fun with this,and have learned quite a bit over the past couple weeks.I still have one more jar that can be done at least one more time,but I am thinking on keeping it the way it is,the yellow crystals/spice has its place with me still.
I like the speedy crazy rush the yellow brings with it as apposed to the smooth cool ride I get with the glass.

Me too, I also loved the "oily/liquid" movement of the wood grain, I remember not being able to take my eyes off the kitchen table the first time I tried spice.:amazed::space:

That's a great way to describe the difference in effects. I often times only have to "hold-on and count-down" (to sobriety) when utilizing very yellow spice or jungle goo. The full-spectrum of additional alkaloids most likely precipitate to this reaction, a confusion and insecurity with the predictability of the experience while the white/cleaner spice provides a lucid transit through hyperspace allowing for adjustment and comfortability.

For me the white increases the brightness of light/color, objects appear fuzzy, moving smoothly and beautifully; awe and inspiration. Jungle goo and dark yellow creates intense rushing, objects heavily morphing and distorting; excitement and fear. That's when I start counting down and breathing slowly lol.

I have to try and write about this while it is somewhat fresh in my mind,while sort of anyway lol...how something like that could ever stay fresh,ya right....
Sorry if this is all out of order,confusing etc and so on,I am just going to write and see what comes out of it in the morning....This was by far the best experience to date with DMT.It was apx 1:25 Am Wednesday when I started this and then decided I would blast off,,,,it comes at such a strange time,just before bed always seems best,it is when I am most comfortable I guess.
While I decided I would go further then I have gone yet.Since I don't have a scale all I can do is guess but I am guessing I loaded an easy 70mg into my smoking device,which is a base pipe with a pink slushy straw on the end to bring it further away from my face bahahaha.
But first...
I tidy my room up a bit,get my bed all ready for the voyage,I make sure my blankets are all tight so there are no uncomfortable wrinkles to bother me while I am flying,I get my pillows all nice and straight,perfect for a comfortable ride,everything has to be perfect for this one.
I shut down my computer,turn off the big light,and move the lamp off to the side a bit.
I sat in my bed,took a few deep breaths to get my lungs ready,but also to contemplate about where I was about to go,I have never gone this far yet.
I breath in,and then out one final time before lift off,I light the pipe and slowly inhale the stream of white smoke,getting every bit of it in my lungs.I hold it,hold hold until I can feel that things are starting to feel a bit strange,it is so very subtle,you almost have to look for it,but you know it is coming,and it is coming fast.
I exhale and again am hit with the sensation that things are about to get very funky.
This is when something completely out of the ordinary happens,only second after I exhaled the largest blast to date.The words,THAT WAS NOT ENOUGH....Where the fuck did that come from??OK,Instantly I lean over,flip the cork off the half vials full of crystal,and proceeded to dump an unknown amount into the pipe,just poured it in there,put it to my lips a lit it like a champ.
While what happened next was the most intense thing I have felt yet.I know I said it last time too,the best one yet,but no way,,,,what happened tonight was,well,words cant describe that shit it all.

As they say,I was fuckin blasted off into space.What space I have no freaking idea.There was no pause this time,no suitableness to it at all.I was instantly immersed in extremely bright color shifting patterns,I didn't even know if my eyes were open or shut,and could not have cared either,no really I couldn't have cared if I wanted to,I was completely out of my mind.
I am going to try and explain this part the best I can.
I would have a thought and it would seem like repeat it self,again like the ripples of a pond.I would hear a noise,but not a real noise I would have heard if not in this state,it was one of those tinging,zinging,popping noises,I get them when I am really tweaking.While they would appear in succession,one after another in different tones,and again,vibrate,or resonate like the ripples of a pond.

The most intense feeling in my body was definitely noticed,I have felt spice running through my body before,but never like this,it was flowing through me,extremely fast like a river and flowing right out of me.I mean gushing from my insides and pouring out of me like a fire house,just everywhere...I could feel it running through my veins,it was in my muscles,it had completely filled my body.
To the point of Literal,this is when I noticed that I had a mouth full of some crazy substance lol.
I was still tripping quite heavily of course and could not make any sense of it at all.For a few moments I was trying to figure out if it was real or not,what it really in there,all the while it kept building up and building,until I had opened my eyes,saw the real world for the first time,and realized that yup,my mouth was indeed full of an unknown substance for real and I had to spit it out.

My mouth had completely filled with saliva,but when I was tripping it did not feel like,nor could I compute that it was in fact saliva hahaha.I don't know what I thought it was,I couldn't figure it out at the time,it was so odd,it came from no where it seemed,but was so captivating,I don't know why?WTF why was it so damn interesting,almost important,I don't friggen know???.....
This is still only minutes into this trip,I was completely gone for a while before the spit.Once it was gone into the bucket,I was back into the bed,my eyes closed,and the visuals,the feeling,everything was still just as strong,even stronger then any other trip I have been on.

I was seeing full shifting colors for close to 20 minutes but who knows,time did not exist it seemed.Things gradually started fading from kaleidoscopic patters into electric looking tracers of various lengths and color,which lasted quite a while.An hour later I feel completely back to where I was before I lifted off.The come down is so very enjoyable,the joint after was just as.

There is so much detail that I just cant recall,I try so hard but I just cant.I wish I could remember more details.There were no creatures,aliens elves,being in this experience.

I don't understand what came over me at that very moment,I literally heard those words,That was not enough...I am usually not so....I don't even know,but that is out of the norm for me.

I knew starting this,that the pile I put in the pipe was more then I have ever done,then as soon as I exhaled,something just flicked on like a light bulb and said,load er up,were going further......

Well anyway,I can no longer think of details right now and am pretty tired,it is so odd how something so intense,something you think would be unforgettable,just seems to slip the tongue.
Well,I worked on the fear at the start,and have over come that quite nicely,maybe I can do the same with trying to match up some words that really fit.....

Just freakin unreal........And its bed time.

I find myself sitting on the edge of my chair reading your thread.... I am sure that those are some of the cleanest shards I have seen for a while. Good job on the extraction and the trip report was AMAZING...
Spice is pretty cool stuff... I did it a few times a while back... When I did spice , I got the idea that I had the impression all the other materials were just toys compared to the awesome power of spice.

Well up until this one neither have I,I have had the formations,but always a little layer of slag.

Here is how I did this recrystallization.

I used boiling naphtha instead of just hot.I placed my spice in a jar,warmed it up a bit in heat bath just until it started to melt a little,then I added a few drops of hot naphtha to help things dissolve a little better.
And the spice does not go back into the bath,there is no need.

I use as little naphtha as I can.Example.This recrystallization was done with 2 grams of yellow powder and I only used apx 30-40ml of naphtha in total,when it is usually suggested to use 25-35ml+ per gram.By using much less I am guaranteed super saturation and things fall out faster.These crystals were formed in three hours.

There will be a puddle of oil/fats on the bottom as usual.While it is still hot I separate the naphtha into a new jar/shot glass making sure to leave the oil behind.
I let it cool at room temp for apx 15-30 mins or until you will see more fats/oils on bottom and side of your jar/glass.Once again I separate the clear naphtha into a new clean jar.
It may even need one more transfer 15-30 mins later,or just before things start to fall out and crystallize.You kind of have to keep and eye on things to catch it before crystals start to form on top of the slag.
The whole time it is left out in open air,no fans,no heat,no cold.

Not very much loss at all,at least nothing noticeable by my eye lol.In fact I was shocked at the amount I was getting back each time.

The starting product was yellow crystal powder,but was not very waxy to begin with.

I don't have a scale to be accurate so I cant say for sure.But I have less then a gram of wax left here after doing all the recrystallization's.

And the remaining little bit of wax can be run at least one more time for sure lol...
The jars that I started out with are now full of clear crystal so thats all that really matters to me.

Maybe the next extraction that I do, I will try and record some accurate weights.

i did the recrystallization today following your tek and the crystals are already forming :D. i had 2.3g of yellowish powder and did 4 separatons. there is still a bit of oil on the botom. i got rid iff all the shit i did not keep it. hope i havent done some stupid thing ??? i must have about 30ml naphta left to vaporate. how long will it actually take to vaporate all 30ml of naphta ?

The crystals form very fast this way,you can see them starting in under an hour usually.By the time you get the the 4th separation things start growing.
I never let it fully evaporate,I was too impatient lol...What I did was I would scrape the crystals out within 3-4 hours,then I just let the rest of the naphtha evaporate over night,leaving a fine crystal dust in the shot glass.But for the most part most of your crystal will crash out in a few hours.

All of the wax save,let it dry,then repeat.You will be surprised what you can pull out of what you think was garbage lol.
