Picture of the Month: July 2010

please nominate your favorite picture posted here at mycotopia this month of july 2010!

here are a few simple rules:

• you must nominate someone else's picture, cannot nominate yourself.
• the picture must be originally posted during july 2010. old pictures re-posted this month are not eligible.
• the original picture must not be retrieved from another location on the net (i.e. pictures located via google and then uploaded to topia are not eligible). we want to celebrate the photography of our members here at topia, not just random peepz from the interwebz! :)
• you can nominate as many pictures as you wish.
• the same member may be nominated for several pictures.

please include the following in your nomination:

• the original poster's screen name
• the nominated picture
• a link to the thread or post that it was originally found in

at the end of the month, this thread will be turned into a poll for 2 weeks and the winner with the most votes will a special prize! :eusa_clap

additionally, :bow: all valid photo nominations :bow: will be incorporated into the Mycotopia POTM Archive, which is updated monthly with the newest photos. it is hosted as a sticky thread in both the Board Rules & Historic Threads forum (for posterity) and the Photo Gallery & Grow Logs forum (for commenting).

So many amazing pics on here its nearly impossible to decide but my vote has to go to Kocos for his monster bolette. Ever since I joined here I've been blown away by kocos' photography not to mention his awesome foraging successes. I figure its no good spending all your time being jealous just give the credit where credits due. Kudos to you Kocos:bow::bow::bow::bow:

the picture must be originally posted during july 2010.

we have decided to move this and all future POTM contests to the photo gallery forum, so that all registered members can now submit nominations. thus, POTM is no longer a VIP-only contest.

this ones not as awesome as the first one, but this nom is more in relation to the thread rather than the picture. thought id go with this picture of some we little ones.
