there's a brew store local. I'm going to pick up an airlock tomorrow...$1.50...that's worth not having to bend this glass. As far as primary and secondary fermentation buckets. I called the store and they have a 6.5gallon primary for $15 and a secondary glass for $22.
First. Why do you need 2 vessels to ferment?
Second. Why is the second one glass?
answered both my own questions today.
second vessel is glass because higher alcohol concentrations can eat through plastic.
