where abouts are yer projects happnin?
under the bed possibly?
i only ask b/c
as a general rule of thumb, you want to keep everything at least 12" above the floor
this is where most contam. spores (&dust, pollen, etc) reside

dont give contam. the upper hand....grow higher:D

Tub actually is sitting on the floor, at the foot of my bed. I can raise them up tho, on empty boxes of pint jars I have kickin around. When I fanned this morning I saw some bugguns poking up, hopefully more start growin too :)

Are you on the 2 fans and mists a day?

Congradulations! It sounds as if this crop is going to be pleasing.

Just a quick update, got home from school to see this. I guess that middle tray of the 3 is the SA's, while the others are cambodians. Still waiting for that monster pinset, hopefully I don't have to wait for the second flush :cacti:

I'm thinking I might have to clone the SA ones (middle of 3 trays, lighter coloured caps). I don't have any more SA syringes, so I will definitely print the caps I get, as well as I will take the biggest, baddest mushroom from SA and cambo and probably start some agar work to clone them :)

Picked the biggest SA, spore printing the cap right now. The wet weight was 10.5g, should be a fun time :). The cambodian mushrooms look like they're going to be absolutely ridiculously large, will update pics later tonight.

Sharing, yes :). No, I have never tried cloning in LC, I have done LC innoc from multispore but never from actual mushroom tissue. I recon it's the same thing pretty much, except drop a big fat piece of tissue in?

better if shredded/chopped fine, you want a few threads
not a big chunk

refer to a cloning tek here for more/better info, but basically, in a still-air-glovebox or in front of a hood, 'twist' a stem so inner flesh becomes exposed and use a tweezer to remove a tiny piece of flesh about the size of a grain of rice (even half that is enough) and drop into a small LC jar.
avoid 'cutting' into the flesh of the specimen as the blade may harbor contam.

avoid cloning caps

best of luck mate

Thanks alot dude!
I woke up this morning, picked the tub up and was like, oh shit! I left the lid ajar? But its these goddamn boomer cambodians that are pushing it up :teeth: . Printed caps left very very dark prints. One of them looks like two fused together (Pic 4). I think it's about time for the middle tray in pic 3 to be picked. I can't get over how large these cambodians wanna be though!

Does anyone have any recommendations of how i would go about dunking my tray once it has been picked? Should I pick trays seperately or get them all at once?

really unless a casing has bad overlay
i would not dunk it, i'd just mist it back.

Should I pick trays seperately or get them all at once?

that's entirely up to you, generally it's just a few day difference anyway

Wow, I think I fell in love with cambodians. 5 big fruits = 150g wet. One of them weighs 43.3g?!?! I may be pretty drunk, but dammmmmn that's a good haul. Will update with second flush info. Calculus is on underlying paper.
