To encourage more standardized pinning-couldnt one lay down in an organized fashion thin wooden dowals to fashion rows in a tub or bin and encourage pinning on each side of every dowal?
Ie. encourage more fruit lengthwise?

Those look so much like flying saucers (psilocybe azurescens) in Oregon. I guess they're quite similar? How do they compare in experience?

Hi darcy, yes allenii are similar to azures and very closely resemble P. cyanescens (minus the wavy cap margin.) As far as the experience goes, all 3 are quite special... deep and visually stimulating :)
