her I will show my way of enjoying this hobby from front to back
I will have to break it up in segments for easier loading
I hope you all enjoy the work.
1 make the glove box...
I just use an aquarium all washed out

boil up some syringes for about an hour, I cover the pot with foil too

cover the aquarium with plastic wrap

put in a 1/2 pint, half full of water that has been PC'd with the grain jars and with the whole thing on its side, tape the top tight so the plastic wont come off

I cut hand hole x's with a knife, they should be small enough to fit tight around your wrist

put in the sterile syringes

I chose an eq printed in a plastic oven bag, I just wiped it wit alcohol and cut it open, and dumped it into the sterile water. Then shook it very hard
the after suck up product looks like this

then shoot it into pre sterilized jars, these happen to be winter wheat, no coffee hehehe

then I put them in the aquarium for storage uncovered, un heated
I dont add heat ever and things allways seem to move right along

10 days to 2 weeks later they will look like this, well they should anyhoo

now for the fun part.....
find a pile of straw.....

then I put it in this garbage can that has its lid cut to let me stick a weed eater in and cop the straw to bitty bitty bits

then it is all put in this tub with worm poo, peat, coffee, potting soil, coir, cat pee,(thanks pongo) lime, a reebok, a hammer for rust, water.. and left to ripen for a month or two..
this was actually done long befor the spore prep

the resulting compost is placed in 1/2 galon jars to be pasteurized

I put lids on the jars with holes in them to let the steam in for better pasteurization

cover loosly with foil and put them in pots with cold water, put them on the stove and heat slowly.
I let them boil for about 1/2 hour due to the jars being 1/2 galon size
notice the weight is NOT on the PC, once it boils good I turn down the heat and let it simmer

next clean out a bus tub and wipe it with alcohol

set up the area in front of the flow hood and get organized

wipe down super fork with alcohol

with the fork scoop out a jar of compost then a jar of grain untill all 6 jars of compost and grain have been used

now I cover the tub with foil temporarily while I bleach out the holding tub, put new poly in the breather holes, put the tub in with the foil removed and wait for the show. Fanning once a day

Thats what I was thinking about the sneak and the hammer but the piss threw me off....lol..nice post ......how much dry weight do you get with 6 quarts?
