first pic:> i have plants with nice flowers...they are from oblong bulbs like onoins, wonder if anyone know what it is?

the second pic:> is of ginger, flowers are close to orchids very pretty....kool

I grow butterfly ginger meeself. Gorgeous blooms, siam. I can only imagine what the garden smells like right now.

Where did you get the ginger? Was it just food grade bulbs thrown in the ground or a cultivar? What growing zone are you in? I'm asking because i really like the look! I had heard it made a pretty plant but never knew.

hey bobcat, i'm in the 10 latitude, they grow naturally here..you can get a bulb from you local super and plant them....
