what are you doing with it? I have used white rice in whole grain teks and have used it ground up in cakes but have never run into this problem before...

Maybe the rice was extra dirty, or low grade.

i thought the same thing, its just strange because I have another 7 jars, made from the same rice, same time, same procedure, same innoculant that are doing just fine...

SHIT!
I don't know why that didn't occur to me, my PC holds 5 pint jars, and ironically I have five jars that contamed. DUH... ok well problem solved, just needed hip to point out the blatently obvious, lol
