that they do not grow much
after the veils tears
so might as well pick
pre-rupture
for better flavor
and perhaps slightly better potency.

But if you're going to print them, shouldn't you wait until they "mature" and the cap flattens out?

taking prints changes the criteria.
i like to wait until i see spores actually dropping
before picking a cap to print it.
