Even with trim leaves and a simple 3 bag extraction, it's possible to make some very nice quality finger pressed hash.
The puck that is cut in half weighs just shy of 1.5gm. It has been finger worked (no mechanical press) over the course of 48 hours. If ya zoom in, you can see the layers inside where it has been folded and rolled back in on itself a number of times over the last couple days. The greenery on the puck is there because I carried it in a tin with some bud...
The "Smartie" is the background is mechanically pressed and weighs just over a gram.
The puck smokes REAL nice on a stainless screen. The Smartie works great for old school smoking - on a pin covered with a glass.
I love hash!!!
I am not so much a fan of making solvent extracts but I like consuming them when they are well made. I smoked some butane honey oil off a quartz nail/vapor globe bong attachment which was amazing. All the glassware and the torch were more than I would want to deal with...but the hits were freaking great. Not a ton of flavor but potent as hell.
So anyway...
Please post any hash/concentrate pics ya have and help me celebrate the the wonder that is the marriage of marijuana and extraction!
Oh and I think I said it maybe once already, but just to be sure: I LOVE HASH!
Can ya tell I'm smoking it right now?

I love finger hash most because of a man named Dalton (or "Yellow" if you speak Rasta Patois). Last time I was in Jamaica he and I walked from the villa my family had rented to "The Mineral," a local fresh-water spring less than 100 yards from the ocean. All the way there and back he was diddling with his bag of plants, and by the time we got back to the villa he had produced a sphere of hash that had the same diameter as an American dime. Best hash I've ever smoked!
I love solvent-hash second best because it is just damn fun to make. Something about risking your life dicking around with flammable liquids and gasses makes that stuff taste great! :lol: In all honesty though, I probably wouldn't be that excited about the taste if I wasn't directly involved in the manufacture...
In another week or so I might be somewhere where there is an abundance of kif. If this turns out to be true I promise to press a bunch of it into hash and post some pics just for you Buck!

When I lived over in Hong Kong and used to only get hash we would get the dark black India/Nepal/Pakistan version and the sandy red Chinese version. We would light the chunk of hash for just a second or two and it would break/dust up. Then we'd roll it up with cig tobacco in a big cone joint with a crutch. :space:
Called it 'Euro style' hash smoking back in the day. :D :roll:

yep.....
i made water hash with it, one time, but too much dust in it......
i think the plant should be rinced well before making water hash, or all the dust will be mixed with trychomes....exept if the plant is totaly clean , what is impossible for me ( because of the local dry and dusty weather)

I hereby proclaim myself to be the tester of all things hash.
Please pm me with details on how you are going to get your
hash to me for testing.
This is not to harsh on those who posted, but it is for the safety
of other Topiates, I MUST make sure all this hash is up to consumption
standards. We don't want anyone unknowingly ingesting opium
or some incense made to look like hash.

Never had proper hashish, ya just don't find it much round these parts. :cry:
Don't feel bad, man. Since I left San Francisco, the only hash I've seen is what I made!
