There was quite a bit of mold on the first plate. I did 2 more. That first one was just too bad.

Thats cool you found those way up on the mountain. I actually live in XXXXXX and found this forum reading up on kratom. I don't really like to trip anymore, I'm more of an opiate guy but when I saw West Virginia I had to post in the thread.

BTW I suspect you guys are going to get hammered with snow, I've heard a foot or more around here and if we are getting a foot down here you guys are almost guranteed a shit load more.

I actually didn't find it. Some friends of mine did, so they kind of deserve the credit for the finding. Have you ever seen any magic mushrooms of any variety growing around your parts?

I've never really looked for them around here but i'm sure they exist with all the farms around. I've seen lots of mushrooms around but I don't really know how to identify them. You need to have some idea of what they look like right? I don't think it would be worth the time just picking random mushrooms and then trying to do spore prints to identify them.

would you incubate these plates at lower temp than usual for cubes?
as perhaps a means of further isolating the cold climate gene.
