If you've never experienced the magic of Salvia Divinorum, please visit my site, SAY ONCE TO SALVIA (http://justsayonce.g2gm.com), and request a FREE SAMPLE.

All I ask is that you be over the age of 18 and provide (as a minimum, although donations are gratefully appreciated and rewarded) return postage in the form of a loose 39 cent stamp or SASE.

BE SURE to read the Salvia Request Page and Official Disclaimer very carefully. NOTE: I will NOT :eusa_naug send samples to states/countries where Salvia Divinorum is illegal; please go to

http://www.erowid.or...alvia_law.shtml

if you're not sure.

THANKS!!

Thanks for the gracious and friendly welcome to Mycotopia, y'all... and after taking the poll, I can see that at 51 years old -- I'm waaaaay in the upper age bracket here! But that's allright.

I recently had a fellow ask about minors smoking Salvia... and thought I'd paste the reply here that I left for him on my site. Any feedback would be real appreciated by anyone -- of any age.

"As far as I know, head shops will NOT sell Salvia to anyone under 18 years old, where ever it is LEGAL, that is... same as they won't sell you tobacco, bongs, etc.

This isn't necessarily a BAD thing, either. Before anyone starts furiously typing what an old Fuddy Duddy I am, let me explain: SOME things DO 'work' better with age and experience. Sure, you can go out and get laid at 14... but are you ready to be a parent? You can get someone to buy you some booze or pot when you're a minor and hey -- maybe no big deal; you'll learn one way or another what your limits/tolerance is... so what if you over-do it a bit?

But I had a guy once tell me that he thought Salvia was inappropriate for ANYONE under the age of THIRTY -- and yes, I'm inclined to go along with that. Why??

Take it from an Old (note I didn't say "and WISE" -- just OLD, thank you) Fart who's been around the block a time or two... young people under 30... say under maybe even 21... have some pretty wild ass ideas about what LIFE (etc)is all about. They're like electromagnets for information and experiences --- some things stick, then fall off, or are changed and moved around some as situations evolve. Not to imply that older people KNOW 'the meaning of life' -- FAR FROM IT -- but MOST folks by 25 or 30 or so have been around long enough to establish their opinions/attitudes towards things like religion/mortality/reality/the prevailing culture etc ... and have a basic framework of constructs to 'work within the system' and get along with their lives... right?

Salvia comes along, and WHAMMMO!!! EVERYTHING goes out the door. Everything you THOUGHT you knew... the beliefs that you'd considered rock-solid... your sense of time and place and meaning in the Universe... ALL THAT stuff is again up for grabs and again -- all of a sudden -- it requires you to develop a whole new paradigm in regards to the basic "WHO AM I AND WHY AM I HERE?" sorts of things you THOUGHT you were secure in.

OK -- I can't speak for everyone, of course -- but that's how Salvia affected ME.

Salvia presents a somewhat stark reality to those who venture deeply with it -- and that reality isn't fuzzy and cozy. It can tend to be downright BRUTAL -- but THAT'S LIFE. Once you get over what SEEMS to be the new understanding of what appears to be a cold, cruel hard world out there -- you're left with the EUREKA-ish epiphany that "HEY! Everything is OK as long as I don't try to act ignorant and stoopid in an attempt to 'get away' with being selfish/narrow minded/unloving etc etc etc!"

Whoa... does that sound like some pretty heavy shit for a fellow in their 40's? You BET, Even MORE SO for a young dude in their teens, who inadvertantly tries Salvia with the notion that it's some kind of kewl buzz or whatever. Salvia is a tool for introspection... a catalyst for change... and it can change you inside and out in ways you'd NEVER have imagined. It can change the nature of who we are for the better... if we're mature enough to listen to what The Lady is trying to say.

Issues of mere legality are rather trivial compared to the potential of what kinds of things SalviaNauts (of any age) can bring about in the world, to make it a BETTER PLACE for us all... here, now, and later... there... in SalviaSpace. It's a whole 'nother world out there, folks. Don't take that first step until you've made an educated choice if it's a place you REALLY wanna go!"

I'll for sure be getting a Mycotopia banner link on my site right soon... and, would like to encourage folks to share their experiences with Salvia so others may learn to know of it as well.

interesting points there salviadvocate. Good to see you stumbled across mycotopia, its a great site. I have to say that there are individuals under the age of thirty who are of sound mind and prepared to take on a trip. I myself have not experienced salvia to the fullest obviously, since i consider it a very mild hallucenogenic. Some day maybe a more powerful dose will come along and teach me a lesson. IMO mushrooms and mescaline, lsd, mdma, and many more certainly surpass the scaryness of salvia. Even marijuana at high doses is a very disturbing high. Years under the belt definately helps form an individual into hopefully a wiser/ smarter more sensible person, however a young creative mind is something that cannot be reckoned with. Peace, and much love for the free sample thing, thats pretty nice of you.:rasta:

Bro my buddy has eatin more acid than Ron Jeremys eatn Poontang. Ate more mushrooms than Hippie, and has probably taken more trips than anyone ive ever known. He said the first time he tried Salvia he felt so unbelievably fryed that it scared him! He then said he ended up frying so hard for the short 5-10 minutes that when he came down he forgot where he was and ended up pissing all over him self. I myself have never tryed it, thanks to my buddy. But maybe you just got some bunk salvia or maybe your body just didnt take to it. But all my friends that have tryed it all said it was stronger than any drug they have tried.

I bought a dry oz an grew four plants. I even tried making a 3x extract from some of the oz. Nothing seemed to work. The most I ever got was a very mild "weird" feeling and the smoke tasted like crap so I gave up.

However, one time I smoked it with a friend who had some pot. And I must say it was the first time I had smoked pot in a few years, but we got stoned in a hard way.

I think I'm someone that would need a good extract to reach a Salvia breakthrough.

sometimes it takes quite a few times smoking it until salvia reveals itself. i smoked it over the years a few times and then this one time it knocked my socks off! and it has since then.

Better a cookie than a depends undergarment :)

Salvia is wild and weird - it makes people do strange things
if they aren't ready for it.

Besides, pissing yourself may feel good, from an enlightened perspective?
