interesting stuff elfstone.
im rather confident youll be pleased with LED lighting and that strain.
with an array or 2 , you can fruit large areas with a flash of blue.

in the"annie does p mexicana" thread all LED is used.

id like to see a round 2 , and ,some clones with this strain ,elfstone.

The two cultures that were cased and fruited yielded 12g dry weight from the first flush. This strain is pretty much full on at the 1g level, so the yield is reasonable.

Using this light source, which includes both Actinic Blue 420 and 6500K light sources, the caps of the 2nd flush appear more umbonate:

I just hung up this Truelumen LED Actinic Blue 453 and will observe the effects under this on the developing pins:

The strips come with an adhesive strip, which stuck perfectly on the inside of the lid of the box:

Should prove interesting...stay tuned....

I just bought a 12" strip from Stunner LEDs for my setup. So far so good. I have one mushroom though that's growing down towards the perlite.
Weird.

A couple more photos with the Truelumen Actinic Blue 453nm LED lights on. The caps seem to respond quite readily, spreading out and developing the classic umbonate shape.

Here is a photo my friend, the collector who spent several months in Huatla, took of a tray grown out only under a TrueLumen Actinic Blue 453nm 10" 4-led strip:

I know there is also a lot of info about light that we may not know the whole story on it yet
I think LED lights are the best cost and energy time they last
there are things with sunlight we do not know yet too ;)
Vitamin D may not be the only thing that needs sunlight to be created
It is very interesting to watch what the different colors have on these Vitamins :)

This is grown out on a mixture of ryegrass seed, supplemented with rye or wheat bran, and steel cut oats. Nothing fancy. They obviously really love the 453nm spectrum!

If you attend to proper humidity (99%) and good air flow, this strain is every bit as easy as your standard cubensis. No complexities at all. I will add that their living presence is definitely felt throughout the home!
