So I was messing around with stylizing some more of my photos.   I thought this one came across with kind of an apocalyptic vibe to it.

I'm not sure if people even use this thread anymore, but it seems like the appropriate place to share some of my artwork. This is one of my first palette knife paintings of an Amanita muscaria.

Got a couple small things to do yet but overall it is finally done. Now it just has to cure for a couple weeks because of how thick everything is. I made it for my moms b-day, wasn't done, then mothers day, lol, still not done. So now, a few months later, I am glad she liked it. That is really beautiful one !

The edging is just as nice as the inside. I am sure with the thickness you describe of the clear, that you see a depth in the color swirl area when seen in person.

 

I really like the fine sparkle like druzy you achieved, that takes on the color it is with.

Can I place my order now for next July? (kidding, you probably don't want to see these materials again for a while.....)

Yes, I do tattoos. Unfortunately people just don't get enough mushroom tattoos! Hopefully once I create some more fungi flash that will start to change.
