Started Collecting Snapple bottles back there myself... luckily a pyrimid of about 100 came crashing/shattering down and ended that.
It's the Connan O'Brien comedy philosophy of beer. Just remember a comment he made that if you keep doing something funny (stacking beer cans) it looses it's comedy, but if you keep going long enough it suddenly gets really funny again, and then it just gets annoying (about the time they fell over and blocked the front door).. But the Magic Connan claimed was that if you keep on going past the point of no more funny and don't look back, just keep at it until someone is forced to stop you... that is the funniest thing of all.

The cans were recycled for 800 dollars, an estimated 70,000 cans: 24 beers a day for 8 years.
Damn, that would buy alot of Coors Light.

I know most deposits around my way are 5 cents... so, if you take .05 x 70,000, that's $3,500 ;)
But who the hell wants to count all those out, and who the hell is gonna take them! hah
I guess you could pay someone $500 to do it and keep $3000, but damn, what a mess. :) heh
Coors? :) hah

I don't think they went and got what they could for them... probably just crushed em and sold in as a bulk aluminum weight...
