Bring out your dead, bring out your dead, and share it with all! Post the tunes that keep you fukengruven. Anything Dead related is cleared for takeoff.

To start things off--->

This tasty nugget is from Bob Weirs studio, its top notch deadness--->

http://archive.org/d...79.sbeok.flac16

Here's an epic show, and its a good sounding AUD so its OK to download to burn--->

http://archive.org/d...f.101685.flac16

This show is tops, just look at the unique setlist, a wonderful sequence UJB>Drums>Space>Playin>UJB>Dew. The Dew is killer, with Jerry getting down on the vocals, nice guitar work to, goosebumps every time. There's a decent AUD of this as well.--->

This is the apple juice show I believe, supposedly the boys ended up drinking some "special" apple juice before this show, it had so many doses in it it was glowing.:amazed: Listen to Bobby's hardcore vocals during BIODTL, I love em! The lovelight is tops.--->

Grateful Dead - 4-17-72 - Epic show, one of my favorites from the rippin year of 1972
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyAOwP8dLqc&feature=related

Grateful Dead - Oakland Stadium - 7-24-87. This show rips, a great 87 show. For me the highlights in the first set are...Jack Straw, Big River, Cassidy, and Deal which Jerry just shreds. Second set is killer, the boys are rolling after space topping things off with a killer Sug Mag. Part of View from the Vault 4.

Grateful Dead - Anaheim Stadium - 7-26-87. The Bird Song is epic with a nice build up and a funky Shakedown to open the second set. Part of View from the Vault 4.

Nice one Tenderfoot, that one gave me flashbacks, seriously I was starting to wiggle my mouth and bob my head hardcore, cant help but move especially when they busted into Spanish Jam.

The Allman Bros 30th Anniversary tour, I saw them in Atlanta, it was the loudest show I have ever seen.

Blair Jackson, in Grateful Dead: The Music Never Stopped says:

"According to Weir, he and Barlow wrote the song from the perspective of a crazy, messianic zealot, a type which one invariably encounters in Deadhead crowds now and again. As Weir explains: 'The basis of it is this guy I see at nearly every backstage door. There's always some guy who's taken a lot of dope and he's really bug- eyed, and he's having some kind of vision. He's got a rave he's got to deliver.' In Estimated Prophet, the psychopath claims 'My time comin' any day, don't worry about me,' and Weir essentially lets him rave." (p. 180)

Sound about right for me...:special:

Here is a good AUD from D5scott, D5scott has other good AUD's available for download on the archive.

The last Greek Theatre run is hot, this is the second night which I love. I had a tape for a long time of the second set, but lost the tape so it was nice to be able to download this bad-boy and get into some hot Greek goodness. Any deadhead knows the Greek was a spot where the magic happened. I loooove the Terrapin from this one, the drums are really cool to. On the tape I used to have a woman was screaming "I wanna fuck Jerry Garcia" throughout drums......the drums build from modern day electronic drums to Mick and Bill playing some nice hand drums.

First Terrapin, nuff said.

For anyone that thinks the 80's were crap, check out this show. This show RIPS big time. The Cassidy is nuts, one of my faves, the Sailor>Saint is hot with Saint hitting several beautifully vicious peaks. The Scarlet>Fire is good to, the whole damn show is good give it a listen.
