Thanks everyone!
I'm glad to hear some good reports.
I searched for threads on OI here and most of the reports were all negative. :(
Supposedly gives bad body load.
So I'm happy to hear some positive reports, especially since the jars are looking so good.
Looking forward to spawning them. They look like they are getting close.

Orissa was stubborn to grown at first when I used castings/verm spawned with birdseed I seemed to have trouble getting fruits. No obvious signs of contamination were seen or smelled but they seemed reluctant to put anything out. After adding coir and upping the spawn ratio I had no trouble growing them. The high for me was fantastic, but I LIKE and am use to the debilitating body high where crawling becomes a viable alternative.

SWIM had trouble with it... brf to wormpoo with no luck... contammed faster than usual.

pretty unhelpful input but, in the context of potency, i've read many times that they are pretty impressive. good luck SL!

Things are progressing nicely.
I went a little spawn heavy this time as I had some troubles with the aa+ grow and really wanted/needed some success after a lot of problems with various endeavors.
Mostly colonized with the very first knots and a couple pins forming.
Really hoping these 2 tubs do half as well as they look like they should.
In other good news I got my first LC going. ( H3 strain ) so I have enough myc for hundreds of projects.
But first we see how the OIs do. Have a bunch (11) jars made from a g2g so there may be lots more of them b4 I start up the H3.
Wish me luck people and here's some pics.

Man, I hope this works for ya. I wonder why mine is going so slow. Soon, you will have to get your dehydrator out!

I have grown OI and had a good experience with them as well Shadow. It was one of the most potent tea's I had in a long time.

They do grow beautiful fruits though I hope you get them going they are pretty to look at.

Should have something soon I hope.
Mine colonised a little quicker because I went spawn heavy in an attempt to have a fast finisher. The last few tubs were either contammed from the get go or early on so I wanted to get things rolling in a hurry.
Hoping they do well.

I plan to.try the lemon tek as I have heard great things.
I was just hoping that there were people who liked the OIs as folks were downing them earlier in the thread.
Wonder why mine are pinning ok while others have had trouble?
Hope they fruit nicely, have had enough problem grows lately

There are some beautiful fruits from this stain. And they do get big, just like the vendors say.
If I were you though I would sample a few and make sure there isn't too much body load for you before you dedicate too much time and resources to it.

There are many factors as to why your grow isn't pinning. You could start a thread with pics so we can help you.

Shadow I did a group trip with 8 people. I made OI tea and everyone loved it. I think it's a great strain and one that is well worth growing imho. I haven't heard body load complaints from my friends in fact some said it was some of the strongest trips they had.

Thanks for the reassurances Dani. Your opinion carries great weight with me so I am super stoked.
Especially since the fruits are coming along great and there are lots of knots. If things continue on the way they are, my lady and I are in for some good times.

Citrus tek involves grinding fruits into powder, soaking them in a minimum amount of lemon or lime juice for 15-20 minutes and then making tea with the juice. You may discard the ground fruits at this point, just make sure to squeeze the juice out of them.

This method greatly reduces body load, as well as makes for a faster come-up and higher peak in my experience. I absolutely love this method and can't wait to use it again soon. :)
