Dunking is where you take a cake or tub that has fruited and needs moisture to help or get successive flushed.
Your tub, being so lightly packed, probably won't be dunkable. And we need to get a flush first b4 we worry about dunking for you.
Dunking methods ( there are more than one ) are discussed in the archives and vaults if you want to bone up on it.

How deep is your substrate? I've had some really good experience with this strain. HUGE fruits! I first tried these on cakes and they took forever. 3 weeks in the fruiting chamber and I was about to toss them and then they finally pinned. By far the most potent fruit I've ever had. Congrats on your success!:eusa_clap

I made the substrate thin at 1 1/2 - 2inches. I wanted it to colonise quickly.

The last fruit was probably the largest. Waiting for the first, dunked tub to recuperate and am going to dunk the second now.
Here's a pic of the last fruit I was waiting for. I let it open fully and am in the process of taking a print. Don't have the greatest facility for this but worth a shot. Have another syringe and saved the tail end of the last one to start an LC so should be able to hold onto this strain. Nice fruits, just have to eat some now. :)

Well, I've learned the importance of scratching the surface of the sub when dunking.
I did get a small 2nd flush after dunking w/o abrading the surface but things look much more optimal for growth after a good scratching up. I'm even seeing some initial fruits forming as the rest continues to fuzz back up.
Good timing as I am just about to start up a few more tubs. Things should get interesting. :teeth:

If you haven't done a LC before might just do about half of what you have left into your first try. I tried three different concentrations of irishlion LC tek on my KSSS syringe and none showed signs of any life three weeks later. :special: Not a biggie for me but if your trying to keep your strain going figured I'd say so.

I've gotta try scratching the surface of my sub after dunking sometime soon that looks much healthier than mine since a bunch of spores got deposited on one spot of the substrate. I'm sure that would alleviate some of the spore coverage.

I have a liquid culture of some Hippie3 strain but didn't have any solution mixed up to pc at the time I innoculated the jars that made the current subs. I did save the last 2cc of the one OI syringe and have another full one and plan on starting a liquid culture soon as they are cool as hell to watch grow and are enough mycelium for many, many projects.

Beautiful....I know any cubie tubs I do in the future will be scratched in a similar manner and hit with the sink sprayer......I have one massive pile of horse shite seasoning outside for the new year..........blessed be the dung and fungus! Nice grow man! Beautiful fruits. I love those big huge boomers. I picked at least a dozen 60g+ (wet) fruits last year from my B+ tubs...........

Really seems to help in a big way. I'm sure it allows the sub to get better re-hydration and the open space seems to want to fruit easier. They're still slowly turning into fruits, so no point in pics yet, but they look well on their way.
The 2nd tub got abraded and sinned the other day. I scrubbed this one even more thoroughly and it seems to be recovering even better/faster than the first one. All fuzz so far but looking really good. Will post a pic when I next crack it open. Been letting them stay in the dark, fanning only once a day, while recovering. Once they fuzz up and start fruiting again, then I start giving light and more FAE.

Sorry to keep you waiting Cue hahaha. :)
I've been wanting to trip for the last few weekends now. Things just haven't lined up for us. Been to tired or GF has been sick, work won't permit. You name it. Hoping once again to trip this weekend, and if we do, it will probably be with Lucy. So it might be a little while longer b4 I get to try them out. Hopefully I won't dislike them as much as you disliked yours.

I'm thinking the same thing cuts. And good to see you btw.
I was sad to lose the AA+ especially as I didnt even get to try any of them. I had to trade them.away to.get mhrb
This weekend Superliminal and I will.be dancing with Lucy but the next journey planned after that will be with my OI fruits. Be great if I can make friends with the fungi as Lucy is getting hard to find again.

The tubs are looking very nice after the dunk and the small amount of bleach in the dunk water may have gotten rid of the verticillium as all new fruits are starting out fatter and don't show any of the usual signs so fingers crossed.

Here's 3 pics of the one tub, the other is still in isolation so to speak. ;)

Edit* pics I took are all too large data wise. I only have my phone to work with atm so pics may take a moment. Especially since im at work  :teeth:

Not sure why photos vary so much in size data wise. Took more pics with the same phone camera and they are small enough this time.
Anyways here's pics of both tubs.

Try not using forum runner. I just use the browser on my phone and don't have any trouble viewing pics.

Here's todays haul. Woke up with a cup full of boomers to pick and be grateful for on Thanksgiving day.
