was quick thinking-
you guys have seen plenty of grow logs
i'd love to make one that would actually help people/
be a good reference even after the fact...

i'm going to take as many pics through the entire process as possible-
but what (if anything) would you guys like to see
for invitro?
any sort of up-close shots later in the mycelium-growth stages/
comparasons, etc.?

i dunno, i guess im just looking for any comments/requests
i want my first time to go smooth,
but either way, having it all logged and recorded-
even if it goes sour
it could help someone...

always wanting to help

well foreplay helps a lot, women tend to need a good amount to get off. Good luck with your first time. Peace.

Just relax! Your log will be fine. Follow proven techniques of your choice and take the best pictures you can for your log. Don't go nuts with the pics. Just take pics of progression. Don't worry man! Good luck.:)

different strokes for different folks :) but i mean there cant be too much to worry about can their you guys? I mean look at all the ppl who have posted pics of their grows and shit and they are still here with us right? as long as you didnt give away your location by holding a jar in front of your house or some shit i would think you would be fine :) but once again different strokes for different folks:)

so, FOAFMCSDPO sent me these pics.
said she's sorry that a couple are blury, blames it on the excessive amount of coffee she drinks.

1 - pretty stealthy. closet full of junk. it's more sanitary than it looks, she cleaned it before setup.

2 - closeup (blurry i know) take notice of the reflective lining of the lunch box. just the smallest bit of light shining through a small opening allows for brightness inside the setup.

(she was wondering if the light can be coming from all around -some from bottom, most above - light tells which way for shroomies to grow, would some light from the bottom have a negative effect?)

3 - another picture (more steady) of the lunch box. the box stays closed for 12 hours, and then she opens the zipper a crack and allows 12 hours of light at night.

4 - two days after innoculation.

[EDIT:]
she told me that the strain is DIXIELAND and there are 8 jars total.
all standard BRF cakes going invitro.
half were made with BRF substrate made w/ tap water / other half was made using POND water.
double-ended vermiculite for added filtration/absorbtion.

she was also wondering if OUST is an effective means of killing airborns in the closet.

what do you use?

[EDIT:] is there someway a mod. could change the name of this thread to something like INVITRO DIXIE GROW...? would be much appreciated :)

Looks great !

Curiuos what the tapwater jars will do....!
Sometimes tapwater is useless because of high bleach levels,or other chemicals...

oust is effective, however can cause mutations. Keep that in mind when using near fruiting cakes or live mycelium.

usualy she gives a good spray in the closet,
close the door and wait at least 30 minutes before opening their home,
just to be on the safe side.

that is totally not necessary unless you were living in a dumpster or your verm barrier is not thick enough or some shit like that :)
Once again different strokes for different folks :)
