looks like the flash to me, but could be early contamination.
is it the light or what? is there anythin growin in there? at that spot?
is that a point of inoculation?
providin it aint the flash, id quarantine anythin that looked like that :eusa_snoo

jar 2: <i suspect this one might be cobweb...>
so as you can see,
jar 1 is an example of one of the cakes that grew mycelium only in some spots
the reason (the answer i got on here)
is most likely that she didn't shake the syringe after each innoculation point (or after each jar for that matter)
are the jars like this going to only grow partially,
or will the mycelium spread and take over eventually?
is there something she should be doing now in order to salvage them?

only one of my inoculation points grew any mycelium
its slowly growing much slower than all the other jars but at the same time the mycelium looks so much stronger and better
even though its only my first time it looks leaps and bounds better than the other cakes, stronger mycelia stronger fruits?
its actually just about done but i think thats a really good way to promote strong mycelia in jars only 1 inoculation point
(not that i only did one, only one grew any for some reason)
of course i could be way off track here
but it certainly does grow just give it a little more time than the others
