i think it was released a couple months ago
got it today, and a twelver of brew.
tip of the iceburg
top of the mountain.
then the pizza tapes
i lost my shady grove album
and gave my pizza tapes away to someone
and now i have been all around this world!~
im tellin you folks,
its the toughest hippie music there is
ill drink to that.
"deep and dark as a dungeon",
i gave away my pizza tape cd
and now just have this one.
uhckk its sick
god damnit i love garcia and grisman playing together.
i love it.

dark as a dungeon
jonny cash used to cover it too.
garcia/grismans version is
slowed down 5x's that of the
way cash used to play it.
gut wretchingly wonderful
garcia lays the vocals down
so slow and so sweet
"where the rain never falls
and the sun never shines
its dark as a dungeon
way down in the mines."

i think youve offered that to me before
this time im going to PM you..
im not sure what it is,
its almost as if 'jamming' with people
is a Drug..
it's like chemistry,
like a love affair of sorts,
and garcia/grisman achive that better
than anything else, for my ears..
(im listening to it right now)
in the past.. maybe-7 years,
my favorite albums have been
and now im in love with
been all around this world.
grismans notes inside the sleeve,
say it is probably the last ever
release he can make...of this..
it just feels like the music sums
my heart and soul up and wraps it
in a comfy blanket,
i need shady grove too,
i dont think they even make
that album anymore,
which surprises me, because
that one is unsurpassed imo.
i gave my pizza tapes to a girl
and told her to listen to it
100 times, and be utmost careful
not to scratch it until shed listened
to it 100 times... like i had done before.
my shady grove album was autographed
by grisman himself, in illinois,
and the sleeve of that album once
held 4 sheets of 'jesus christ'
so actually this love affair i have
has been going on for almost 9 years
because those doses came around only
months after the horrific loss of
cedargrove, it would be ok with me
if you slipped a couple doses of
lsd blotter acid in there for (lol)
