Were those dunked? If so, how long? How did and how do the cakes feel now? Light? Crumbly? Heavishy?

yes they were dunked...approx 12 hrs. They are SUPER light but not crumbly at all. Going to dunk again and shoot for flush #3. The one that didn't produce anything is still "heavyish". Very odd.

no...i was actually thinking of tossing it. It's been sitting there doing nothing for over 2 weeks. The others pinned, grew, and have been picked. This flush...the mushies were MUCH larger, but fewer. I am VERY happy with 30+g wet from 2 cakes.

I love Tex good job. I've had cakes in the past retain too much water in the past not sure why. Maybe the center is not fully colonized.

Yeah, don't dunk that heavy one... try giving those really light ones a good 16 hours and see how they do. Tex cakes usually hold together well for me with longer dunks and suck it up. My cakes are always sucked dry after flushes. Tex is nice like that.

I love Tex! They're nice to look at with the defined gills & color. Especially when they turn crazy blue where you picked 'em!

will do. Hope it takes the longer dunk well. Guess we'll see. I had to clean out my big tub...had an "off" cake. Bleached the whole thing out and cleaned it well. Put some new cakes in it...we'll see.

What are the conditions in your fruiting chamber right now?

Thanks for the feedback guys...

Dial8, there is no fruiting chamber. Just a 1/2 pint birthed into a pint jar, room temp (about 70-72 avg.) It worked wonders for the texans so I gave it a shot with these too. The stealth level remains high, but the mushies have some room to grow!
