modite is a great double as well both from unibroue in quebec but can be found in the US if you look for it
belhaven in the draft can(like the can guinness comes in) is great
I also am a big fan of Lambics, these marry the best parts of beer and wine into a great tasting treat, yet another belgian idea, those people know how to drink
ohh yeah, bodington's pub ale is good too, as is old speckled hen

nice alpiner,
that's the kind of world im looking to explore.
the underground of beer.

i'm going to look for Lambics next time i'm in the city.
is it possible to find?

Tried a Cherry Lambic once and it was too sour for my tastes. I like Duvell Belgian. Also I enjoy the smoothness of Kronenbourg from France.

Yuengling lager and their black and tans are decent beers that aren't too expensive. I have always liked Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Anchorsteam, but my wallet doesn't. But I like most micro-brews and imports. I think different beers work for different moods and occasions.

Heineken or Heineken light. I like Killian's Red, but Heineken is my first choice.

I'm going to enter a 30-day rehab in August (voluntarily- not court ordered or anything), for alcohol and benzo addiction. But...I'll be drinking until then. Gotta get my last one's in.

Anyway, and this may be an indication of why I need rehab, but my fave is Pabst Blue Ribbon in longnecks. It's undrinkable in cans of course...but I would encourage anyone to give it a try if you can get it in bottles. First learned about it in a Kentucky Honky-Tonk where it was the only beer they served. I asked for Sam Adams and the bartender looked at me like I was nuts and just put a PBR longneck in front of me. Good thing I didn't get an ass-whuppin'.

Just don't drink 24 per day like me. That's not good for you!

Whats up with that Yuengling black and tan? I always thought a black and tan was a pale ale with some dark stout poured on top, most often Bass and Guiness. Half the goodness of a black and tan is watching the colours of the beer mix as you drink it :)

Only beer I have drank in the last 10 years has been Heineken. Normally between a 6 and 12 pack a day.

I mean yes, I have had a few others here and there, like Samual Smiths Oatmeal at a show or a good ole Fat Tire or a Sam Adams Boston or a Guiness but all in all I only buy Heineken. Sucks, its not cheap, but I have such an aquired taste to it now that I cant barely touch any other beer.

Wife hates it also since I save ALL my bottle caps. I have about 3 of those big file organizer boxes completly full of them. She hates finding caps all over the damn house, but she is a great sport and never throws them out, she always collects them and puts them in the box.
