Wife hates it also since I save ALL my bottle caps. I have about 3 of those big file organizer boxes completly full of them. She hates finding caps all over the damn house, but she is a great sport and never throws them out, she always collects them and puts them in the box.

does anyone have the link to that house that was filled w/ beer cans? :lol:

But I only collect the caps. If I saved cans or anything else I would be divorced and homeless. :cry: lol

If your looking for somethin good to try,
If you've got any local breweries see if they have a Barley wine! A lot of the time it's a seasonal thing, but it ages well so a few cases will last a year or 5.

Mostly just drink homebrew anymore.
Guiness Knock-offs or Fruity Hefe's.

I'm more of a whiskey guy, But when i do drink beer, it's usually MGD.


I also really like Labat, leinenkugel, Killians, guiness, differnt flavors of sam adams.

man I can't believe no one else said this. OBERON!!! this shit rocks. It's the best in the summer though. I heard it sucks during winter.

Oberon is good. It used to be called Solsun, and it was unfiltered. Much better. I've got a Bell's mirror in the living room...;) I used to work at a brewery pretty close to Kalamazoo Brewing. They do have the best beer. Now I live in a state that JUST started allowing 6% and over beers, not many microbrews. Some things make me hate the south, but thats a whole nother post. I would say my favorite beer ever is Bell's Double Cream Stout, while the favorite one I'm drinkin now is gonna be the Dogfish 90 minute. My buddy just made a thousand mile trip with a few cases of bells for us...so I will drink the oberon for a lil bit...;)

I prefer Bell's Porter to the Oberon, but I think I am in the minority on that one. I remember the days downing pitchers of porter at the Club Soda...

the porter is the shiz. we used to get pitchers at the soda too...;) cept we'd just drink the whole pitcher...who needs a glass

My staple beer is the St. Bernardus ABT12, I'm fond of quadrupel's and this is the most complex one that I have ever tasted.

Those wonderfully hoppy IPA's are probably my second favorite, Dogfishhead 90 minute is perfect on draft and Titan IPA runs a distant second.

Bass, Harp, PBR well any other beer is still great!

Try this..An Ice cold Coors, some spicy hot V8 and a dash of lawrys seasoned salt..Its great in the morning

modite is a great double as well both from unibroue in quebec but can be found in the US if you look for it

I've stumbled around Montreal many times and woke up in some unfamiliar places because of Maudite!
That beer also has a pulpy thick sediment in the bottom of it.
Good stuff!
Bottle is cool looking as well!

I like beer with sediment. A few of the Belgian monastery brews have that.

Depending on the mood I'm in I usually go with Red Stripe or Corona.
