I saw the mulch and was admiring how well it worked for you. I always just use straw or grass clippings, but may try a few patches with some mulch also.

Freaka i'm glad u like this thread -think your outdoor box patch is going to B a hoot to watch too....
I am me - good idea ...there is a clump of vines i can throw over the rings if i need cover though....

The last pic -where the grow ring can be seen in the background is sporting what is considered to be the worlds most intensely fragrant flower..Oriental Lily, "Silk Road".......:hippie:

I wish I could do this where I live the humidity is always high but the temps get way to hot in the daytime.
I may try this in the early fall when the temp drop a little. Thats when the cubies around here really start to grow alot anyways.

Nice big caps ready for harvest ..They seem to grow fast in wet weather..
The other half of the ring is beginning to pin now -i don't know why it was delayed but hopefully will do ok...One pic with flash and one without...
