These are my first casings with crumbled brf cakes cased with 60\40 verm coir
What do you think??
is all going well?
are they suppose to colonize the casing layer like this ?
Should I still be directly misting the cakes or just the sides of the grow chamberPosted Image

looks ok to me
the coir may be causing a lil of that slightttt overlay, if you can even label it that
that myc is just poking through
to figure out which way to send out the shroomies
bet it turns out great

what are you casing in electro? looks like the sides are open...like a laundry basket? I don't believe you want air it from the sides like that...I'm not sure tho..was just reading rodgers post from earlier in the week. If those sides are open they will probably fruit from the sides too..thas just what I read tho...we'll see what happens..Posted Image good luck buddy

That looks fairly cool, mist the sides of your chamber each time you do an air exchange, and hope for the best. Peace.

Those casings are about to show pinning in about a week or 2. Just keep heading down the same road you're on. Mist the sides of your chambers and a smidge on the perlite everytime you fan. Looks good! Keep us posted with pics.
