Really great looking bro, keep em coming

Gotta love the great outdoors,

Nice fruits alpha-num.:teeth:

:rasta:

lookin awesome man

Thanks guys. They really do just keep coming lol.

Its like that over cooker thingy thats on late at night on the info-mercial. lol

"set it and forget it"

These patches are rocking out VERY nicely.

The one that has pushed out the most fruits so far, i plan on doing that "super spawning" thing
with it.

Rip up the patch... and just mix it with almost equal part fresh fruiting substrate again. See if it takes
and just pops out more flushes ;)

Revitalize !!! Renew and REUSE!!!!

They really do just keep coming

Same with my garden. Nothing spectacular atm, but 6-12 mushrooms every 12 hours adds up.

Slugs usually have their fill quiet often lol.
I spray the young pins with Neem or a VERY LIGHT salt solution. I like to make it BY TASTE>
Mix enough salt in water a little at a time and taste it periodically, when you can TASTE the salt
the slightest bit... thats salty enough to ward off the slugs and can even melt them away if
keep spraying them lol MWUAHAHAHAH, i actually prefer to feed them to the ducks ;) :)

New patch that is starting to fruit. ;)
Some progressive shots here taking over the course of id say... 2-3 days.

ok... to say the least, im pretty damn impressed with this years turnout
so far. really really nice.

Minus all the god damn slugs... THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!!! Im starting to get a little nervous...
some of the slugs are large enough to be able to completely eat up some of my tiny veggies
i got planted right now... not to mention this moronic weather.... RAIN all the time... COLD AS SHIT
at night... im detoxing.... so ya im stressing out now lol PLEASE excuse any extra
asshole'ish comments i might let slip... im sry... but this is typing so i should be able to watch myself
here, among the fam ;)

Welp everyone, enjoy the days pull.

June 15th,2013 Afternoon
Absolutely crazy amount.. this group of pics were taken as i harvest.
Took me 90 mins to just HARVEST them... not even clean them up yet... im doing that now lol.
Ser(2).JPG
Showing some progress..progress was SLOW lol took so long before it actually LOOKED like i did anything.
Ser(7).JPG
Ser(10).JPG
ALMOST DONE!!! lol
Ser(9).JPG
FINALLY... 90mins later i finished pulling the mature babies :)
Ser(13).JPG

This is a NEW patch that is just starting to fruit. :) :)
Notice the STRAIGHT line of mushroom pins... I was testing something by putting a log
over the substrate... well i like the results and plan on doing more of this... kinda makes the
mushrooms form where you want them to form.
Ser(3).JPG

24 hours later... rest of the bunch matured and is now ready for harvest. These pictures were taken ... an hour ago
So check this shit out... these little bastards i tell you lol I wont lie though, i give um MAD CREDIT, WHY?
Just keep reading lol.
I sprayed everything with a VERY light salt solution... the mushrooms.. the soil.. the logs near them..
Well... look what these lil smart asses did lol... They are starting to REPEL !!!!! NO JOKE.
just look at these first 4 pictures VERY CLOSELY,
First one shows them hanging on to the over head "cover" that happened to be OVER some of the
mushrooms, i used it as a shade from the sun. They cant slide on the ground because of the salt lol.
So they instead go the LONG ROUTE lol. Then look at the next 3 pics... you can see that
slug literally HANGING THERE,,, and i took some close ups of the SLIME "ROPE" lol...
if you look VERY CLOSELY at the 3rd pic, you can see the slime attached to the metal screen. CRAZY
but amazing all at the same time lol I just love to hate these little bastard slugs though lol
I literally noticed HUNDREDS recently... something about this season that has PEST bugs on the rise.
Im going to have to get on my game lol
Ser(18).JPG
OK enough slug talk lol Check out the pull ;) Lots of nice clusters, really nice.
These only took me about 30mins to harvest, uncleaned of course, i just mixed them with the rest
and im about to go outside and clean them up. ;) Joy oh Joy lol
Ser(20).JPG
Ser(23).JPG

Here is the other patch that is maturing up NICELY!!!!! :)
I have a feeling this is going to be the BEST one yet lol
They seem to be only getting better and better as the year moves on :)

^^^ This guy... now you look like the guy that just looks at the pictures and
doesnt read the text ;)

I most certainly explained HOW that line of mushrooms formed ;)
In the first group of picture,... BEFORE the text break, that last picture i talk
about the line of mushrooms.

I just placed a log over the entire substrate AFTER i made it of course.
Was curious to see how well the mycelium formed pins and mushrooms along sides
of objects. Well seems that form pretty damn well lol

Guilty, but I did paraphrase a little,

must have skipped right over that part. lol :spank:

The pics are the best part, and you do them so well.:headbang:

Keep em coming, and I'll try to read all the words.;)

I love that straight line of pins. I wish I could do outdoor here but it's way to hot and dry. Also can you tell us more about this "jar tek" with the bacteria, it's quite a novel idea, I think it makes sense except I think that indoors the "bad" bacteria may take over.

Nice outdoor grow! Love the pictures. One thing that I found hard to picture is the patch in a jar thing. So your inoculating up some jars with compost tea at it's prime then pasteurizing the compost tea and then inoculating the jars that you already did with the unpasteurized tea?- or just inoculating other colonized jars with the now pasteurized tea?

Regardless do whatever makes the mycelium happy. No need to listen to anyone but them in these matters

I have the same issue, that's why I use a cigarette pack.
You know what my wife says about a man with big feet? "He wears big shoes".

Well I think mother does it with UV radiation and perfect levels of fae and humidity, but that's why nature is nature. It's so hard to recreate and there will always be different types of bacteria in compost but this is something for someone with more insight on it than myself, maybe someone with or getting a PhD in microbiology could use it as a dissertation topic.
