Ok this cake was knocked up with liquid culture
this is the first time using liquid culture and this cake seems to be different than the multi spore cakes I have been working with.
Note the blueish tint on the cake just happen today ! should I dunk , bleach dunk , or just leave alone what do you think ? the reason I ask if it's cob web mold as soon as I put it in the grow chamber it fluffed up like cotton and hasn't changed it's been a week

It's not cobweb. I just took the back of a spoon and flattened it out before it got that bad. I would wait on some other opinions on what to do.

maybe blue from drying out?
low on moisture
im not sure
keep an eye on the tint
if it goes from blue to green
toss it or put it in some sort of seperate chamber to fruit it (if you are hellbent on getting fruits from it)

If it has not changed in a week, then it is not cobweb.

Cobweb grows Very fast, myc gets fulffy and that is good,

IF you do get cobweb just spray with peroxcide

It does not look like cobweb mold to me. It just looks like fluffy mycelium. Good luck electro!

Thats just fluffy myc.

It's blue probably because the chamber isn't humid enough.

Cobweb looks like a fluffy grey cloud, and it grows at a huge rate.

Cobweb mold looks much like real spider work, except thicker. Unfortunately, if you stay with this hobby for awhile, you will have a number of chances to view this critter up close. Anyway, as you become more filmiar with the nature of this beast, then you will know it when you see it. See the archives for tools to combat that kinda web.

Looks bueno to me. Maybe the blue is from humidity/temp. I have noticed that liquid culture cakes are a little different in the way that they grow.
