Have a lot of berries growing on the property. From strawberries to some dewberry hybrids.

Here's a couple pics of some raspberries, blackraspberries and red currant :

Strawberries are out for the year and that picture is the last of the red currant. Picked a little bit of black currant today.
Got plenty of both raspberries though - they ramped up now in ripening. Will be picking a pound or two a day till August :)

got berries?

Nice I wish I had my berry patch going. Got a few strawberry plants and two wild Florida dewberry plants but that's about it. I only get a few berries here and there never a bunch like that. Awesome harvest

I like keeping the green thing holding the red currant berries together.
Then i put them in freezer.
Then in wintertime i take a box out and pick the green thing with some 10 berries and dip in sugar and just eat.
Tastes soo good.

I also have a lot of strawberries and this year i bought a cross named Pineberrys.
It looks like white strawberries who is supposed to have a taste between strawberries and pineapple.
Next year i hope i get a lot of those.

Very nice berries, Ilia.
Homegrown tastes so much better than the ones at the stores.

I have dewberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, you name it going wild here.
I sat in a patch of wild strawberries some weeks ago and literally ate myself some dinner there. Cat tail shoots, day lily flowers, berries...
I've also got feral apple trees that yield small tart yellow apples, when the squirrels let me have some.
The little tree rats sit in the swing and eat them! Apple all over my swing!
Food chain is a B*tch, guys; your day is comin' this fall!

I even made myself a dewberry cheesecake last week. The dog and I enjoyed it.
Using almond meal/butter mixed baked for crust, and splenda, it's a lower carb dessert that won't make my blood sugar crazy!

I was wondering where all my black wild raspberries were going, until I caught the dog grazing on them! No kidding. He was going down the line stripping the vines of ripe ones!
