To ALL: Many (most) of you will need to edit your profile pics and your sigs. There are some artifacts left over from the migration and old now unsupported BBCode, and most or all of the profile images were lost.

 

So... IF you see that you have code in your sig, or IF you see that your profile pic is an "image missing" icon, those would be clues that you need to edit them. ;)

My sig can contain 0 URLs, 0 images and 0 lines... Is that normal ?

Try now. We're still working out the details on permissions, but you should be able to do a little.

Got the Avatar, no problem. I do not seem to be able to return a pic to my signature. URL is the only option that comes up and it is a pic from my files.

I'm not sure if there is an upload option for those screens specifically. So it will have to be a link from somewhere else, or something you have already uploaded. I do believe the board will save whatever you select from URL tho if it's a remote image.

 

Try uploading to imgur or something and linking from that. The gallery will be up soon, otherwise it's just what's been attached somewhere.

So if I understand correctly, I need to post a pic to another site to give it a URL maybe? I'm new, buy the ghostly image in my profile needs to be changed ASAP. She's a bit deathly lookin', as well as that I'm a He!...he, he.

For an avatar, you can upload a sized picture directly from your computer files. For signature pics, you can post the picture somewhere like the test thread, and copy the url from there.

Is there any way we can limit the size of the sig images? Other sites have giant sig pics that show up in every post and it makes it very hard to read a thread... just a thought.

Yes, I believe they are limited to half banner size. All this is an ongoing experiment, so may be revised later. ;)

 

They are also limited in numbers (1) as are links and lines.

I can't wait: I am still trying to understand how I didn't even remotely tripped with 60 grams of dried San Pedro.

I mean: "no-effect-whatsoever".
