*I know these things are going to have to be transplanted into more suitable containers, but when would be the best time to transplant the tomatoes or pumpkin?

Much love  :victorious:  :victorious:  :victorious:  :victorious:

I grew up growing pumpkin patches with my dad :) lots of drainage, lots of light, and a good misting (of the soil) 2-3 times a day Ill post up pics of my corn and pumpkins today, not much change on the tomatoes or G.Os

WOW...

That's almost all I can say, I really want to give them another try next year...it's too cold now though.

I never tried misting them, maybe that's here I go wrong.

Very nice plants, good vibes. :)

The best way to water a pumpkin is deep and infrequently, but i like to tend to the soil constantly bc i have nothing better to do during the day! Also, DO NOT mist the leaves, pumpkins are very susceptible to fungal diseases. - Just thought I would clarify :)

Its so awesome you are starting seeds right now! I am very jealous. We just starting to get into mad Winter where I am. Have you ever thought of getting some seeds from Jonny seeds, or somewhere the seed are more natural feeling. If you did find a place closer to heart...

For my growing medium if anyone is wondering - i'm using a mix of Miracle-Gro Moisture control, Vermiculite, and spent & dried coffee grounds from home and Starbucks!!

For those of you who don't fancy coffee: You can call your local Starbucks in the morning and ask them to save up their coffee grounds for you, Its 100% free and they're very nice and generous about it all!! When I did each time they gave me almost 12 POUNDS!!! Thank you Starbucks!!!

Miracle grow is poison. I would not even use it on someone I hate's plants.  your best bet is to buy the cheap bags of topsoil and make your own mix.

Not trying to tell you what to do and all, I just cannot stand Monsanto or any of their products. The are one of the main causes of the Bee population death.

As true as that MAY OR MAY NOT BE..., I have had nothing but great results using this soil and I dont plan on changing it until I study up on compost and have the means to create it myself. But thanks for tuning in! :)
