Looks a lot like it does in the woods out behind my place, here deep in the heart of the midwest. We've had 10"-12" on the ground for about the last two weeks now and probably 3"-4" most of the winter. I must admit for the last week or so I've been using it as an excuse to stay in and catch up on "projects" ; and I'm starting to "Think Spring" a little bit. Have Fun and Stay Warm, J.K.

I am in the east Ontario side of Algonquin park I grew up in woods like this but have to walk to get to them where I live now
they r not just in my back yard anymore but close to it ;)

very clean maybe 3-4feet of snow in this part even the deer walk around ;)
Here is a spot the deer walk :) maybe 2 feet but there is a hard crust of ice so u only go down a foot maybe if u step here I would sink further han the deer I think? lol
4 legs to distribute weight vs 2 ? maybe if I crawl lol the snow didnt get very deep this year Other years I have been walking in waist deep snow not just knee deep
Jet trail in this one maybe people r flying some place warmer?
I love how the snow really sits on top of nothing lol it will start collecting on a mushroom or a bark chunk hanging off then build to some interesting shapes :)
U can see polypores very easily they have caps of snow :)
