I had a brother that tried to make one for a science fair once, he got caught, lol.

 

I would like to someday set one up, but have only dreamed so far.   A good place to look to for ideas is Mile Hi Distilling.

For shine? I made one fairly simple. Made 115-135 proof tasty whiskey.. Don't buy one.. The piggies keep an eye on that..

they look pretty simple to make, found several you tube videos.

I made a still a couple years ago with an interchangeable pot column and a reflux column.
