I just got a pack of 30 of those MFers in the mail! I'll never use em all, but I'm excited for stones :D

What precisely do you use to seal your bags?

I use an impulse heater, but I have used tape, paper clips, or staples without any problems.

Right on thnx yall

I found these things at lowes that are not quite zip ties but more like plastic ball chains that are reusable but befor I used those I did use paper clips and zip ties.....the ball chain thingies are like 2 bucks for 15 I believe but totally reusable so worth it imo....

I did reinforce the green house cause its pretty flimsy.......

Poly helps for fae/fruiting and the tape helps to cut the holes w out ripping the bags....

the bags on the bottom are on the 3rd flush but I didnt wanna post till it was official....

....thnx again yall will post as they come on line..

to add poly without ripping the bags you have to use a razor blade that has triangular edges. don't try and actually

cut it, just slide the razorblade in and let the edge do the work. make a second incision to cut it into the shape of a "V".

Very nice. This thread as well as 67fordtitus' thread inspired me to purchase some mycobags and give them a shot. Do you think the filter patch will be enough for fruiting or should I open them up a few times a day and fan?

depends on the micron size of the filter patch

They are large (8 x 4.8, x19) sized bags with .5 micron filter. I grabbed 2 of them along with some other stuff thinking of how nice it would be to not have to prep and maintain perlite for my "mini-tub in tub" attempt. Dub tub maybe?

you could put the two bags into a 24 quart sterilite tub with FAE holes. two mycobags has provided sufficient

humidity in that sized tub IME. still requires monitoring since ambient conditions can change the conditions in

the tub, but a spray bottle with a fine mist is all i've ever needed. here's an example of how i set up my tubs-
