I just got a pack of 30 of those MFers in the mail! I'll never use em all, but I'm excited for stones :D
What precisely do you use to seal your bags?

to add poly without ripping the bags you have to use a razor blade that has triangular edges. don't try and actually
cut it, just slide the razorblade in and let the edge do the work. make a second incision to cut it into the shape of a "V".

Very nice. This thread as well as 67fordtitus' thread inspired me to purchase some mycobags and give them a shot. Do you think the filter patch will be enough for fruiting or should I open them up a few times a day and fan?

depends on the micron size of the filter patch

They are large (8 x 4.8, x19) sized bags with .5 micron filter. I grabbed 2 of them along with some other stuff thinking of how nice it would be to not have to prep and maintain perlite for my "mini-tub in tub" attempt. Dub tub maybe?

you could put the two bags into a 24 quart sterilite tub with FAE holes. two mycobags has provided sufficient
humidity in that sized tub IME. still requires monitoring since ambient conditions can change the conditions in
the tub, but a spray bottle with a fine mist is all i've ever needed. here's an example of how i set up my tubs-

Do you leave the bags unsealed when fruitlig?
