Birds nest fungi....

Found these in the garden today...Growing on hardwood mulch under a rose bush...An amazing l'il fungi when seen up close...
The best thing about em is that each one of those eggs equals a 4 way hit:eusa_liar ....I WISH....any way ,hope u like the pix...

Nice find! That's the Striate Bird's Nest (Cyathus striatus). Each one of those eggs (peridioles) contains 1000's of spores. They look like sea shells with black pearls in them to me. :)
