Well, if I am going to participate in this thread I will post the very first "drug" (ugh) inspired music that I ever really listened to and truly enjoyed:

And yes, I am listening as I post this.

OOOH! poly_sacharride... EBN!  I LOVE those guys! What a great video!

Here's another one of my favorites from EBN, titled "Comply":

[Direct Link]

Crazy how they used nothing but primitive 1990's video editing techniques, primarily of edited content from 90's news broadcasts, particularly relating to the Gulf War, recorded to VHS to do these amazing things!

And here's their own official "mockumentary"/informercial... It's hilarious! I wish that, when they were still touring, I was old enough to see them live. :) They talk about how "People have been telling us for a long time that they've been waiting a long time for somebody who is manipulating the media, instead of the media manipulating us".

I've got TONS of old Estes model rocket kits that I need to start building. My father, for such a long time, was a technology educator in middle school and high school (industrial arts, metal working, small engines shop, machine shop, metal shop, woodworking shop) and gifted me TONS of awesome model rockets to build. I'll need to buy new rocket engines (Toys R Us and Michaels craft stores, as well as many online retailers sell rocket engines) and launch them mofos! I used to be obsessed with Estes model rockets when I was a tween/teen. Good times!

My GOODNESS! I'm in the right place, after all. :) So many kindered spirits. So many like-minded people who remember such awesome things, and people who also remember them quite fondly.

I've posted EBN's videos to other forums and nobody really truly appreciated them, probably because they didn't realize how painstakingly difficult it was for EBN to make their music/videos with primitive 90's technology.

I'm right at home here. :victorious:

My first introduction to EBN was from a local college radio station that had a really weird show (They even had an all-industrial music show on Friday nights!). Imagine my surprise, when Youtube became well-established, that they didn't JUST make music... they made music videos from broadcast TV content!

Happy, happy... JOY JOY JOY!...

Glad to see somebody recognized it, I still have their VHS-only first album packed away somewhere. I still think they were way ahead of their time. I just wish they would have done more than 2 albums. Here's one of my favorites:

I'm kind of surprised that Carl Orff's estate has never had that pulled for having part of Carmina Burana in it in the lead up though. Kind of like they did with KMFDM and Apotheosis. I might as well post those too.

HOOOLY CRAP! Not only do you dig EBN... But also the great KMFDM!

Industrial music FOREVER! ::bangs head, dons goggles, laces big old boots, dresses in black, and grooves out like a mofo::

:)

Still... so jealous that you have one of the original EBN VHS tapes.

Ever listened to any Cracknation stuff? They were born of the Chicago industrial scene just like KMFDM, have toured with KMFDM, and KMFDM is one of their biggest inspirations.

Song is by Acumen Nation, THE defining band of that label.

Here are the lyrics. MAN oh man do I dig deep, meaningful lyrics...

Polemic -- By Acume Nation (Industrial rock):
we feed on vibrations
the beating of locust wings
ours is a template left unset.. supposedly
away from the things of moderm man.. someday
but first the tidal crash -- the fallout crush

so we confront.. the gestation
of ignorance.. and all blind faith
a mind in flux.. our nation state
truth is the only holy water
baptized by force
truth is the only holy water

in-fec-tion trans-mits at eye con-tact
first born ed-u-ca-tion be-comes a drug
to kill for while au-to asphyx-i-a-ting
inside your cocoon

so we confront.. the gestation
of ignorance.. and all blind faith
a mind in flux.. our nation state
truth is the only holy water
baptized by force
truth is the only holy water

prophet loses way, stumbles angers easily
trading his ideas for easy tickets and plasma screens
a thousand lost voices, once destined for uprising
are now reclining blissfully
in their waste...
in their waste...
in their waste!...

how can those with so much, piss on mill-ions
born with noth-ing, how can col-or or lo-ca-tion
seal your fate from in-ter-ven-tion
enough is enough
for glo-bal rapists, but your
con-su-ming hard pulls them deep
and be-fore you know it
se-cur-i-ty be-comes your to-o-o-o-ommmb...

so we confront.. the gestation
of ignorance.. and all blind faith
our mind in flux.. our nation state
truth is the only holy water
baptized by force
truth is the only holy water
baptized by force
truth is the only holy water

BAAAAPTIZED BY FOOORRCE!
BAAAAPTIZED BY FOOORRCE!
now years of people are all slaves
show the heathens to their graves
now years of people are all slaves
show the preachers to their graves
let's show the heathens to their graves!
show the preachers to their graves!

OOOH and this is one of my favorites by KMDFM...

KMFDM - I Am What I Am (The One and Only One) Mix by Steve White (Boy, can I ever relate to these lyrics!)

[Direct Link]

Lyrics:

Intimal, obsolete
I overslept, arrived too late
If nothing is as nothing does
I guess my time has come
Weather underground is overcast and chilly
Then the truth is never pretty
When you wield it like a gun
Quick, catch me, lost control
My pants are down, I’ve been exposed
It’s not the way it looks, I swear
There’s nothing I wouldn’t dare

Give a little, take a lot
A kingdom built upon the rot
If power comes so easily
Then nothing but the best for me
Hey you, hold on, stop right there
I'm only human, let’s be fair
I’ll make no apologies
Or full confession on my knees
No, I won’t go quietly, admit I am your enemy
I'm still the one you hate to love
Everything I ever was

I heard it all, did it my way
Did it my way
You can’t change me
I am what I am
I am what I am
No, you can’t change me

I heard it all
Made the call
Took the fall
You can’t change me

Just realised that my previous post was half complete, without the follow up song from the album:

Like the title says I want to hear the drug inspired music that you are listening to NOW!

My prefered genere is hip hop, so it will be the bulk of what I post, but please do not let this stop you from posting the drug music of your choice.

I gotta tell you cyclenaut, every thing in my Life is now and has been for a long time drug inspired  . So whatever I do, wherever I go, whatever I say is drug inspired. Here's a coupla
