You may see a few new threads around, called Q&A MegaThreads. These are threads with common questions consolidated into a single MegaThread. This way, people can read many viewpoints on any single specific topic, and get a range of opinion.
This will be a work in progress.
We feel this will be a convenient way to consolidate information, for your viewing and learning pleasure.

Hi, I was unable to find an answer to this in the general forums and not sure if I should start a new discussion just on this. If I have a question about agar / petri dish and potential contamination should I start a new discussion? Specifically, I have some agar petri dishes that have blue food dye. There are 10 petri dishes and 2 of them look fine -- white mycelium and blue agar. The other 8 have white mycelium but the blue dye has begun to disappear and it looks kind of grey / tan. I don't see obvious bacteria, but is is normal for the blue dye to disappear? Or is that a sign of contamination?

Hi RainbowTek,
If you have a question about something and it doesn't fit into one of your other threads, go ahead and start a new one in whatever you think is the right forum (Fungi? Cannabis? General?)
Bonus points for reading around first and putting down what you think is the right answer to your own question.
