A friend and I were talking about people serving sentences with 24 hr lockdown for long periods of time and how drastically it affects ones mental health. We are social beings and I am grateful for friends and family, especially this one!

Food and knowing that it is so readily available and that I will never have to starve in this country.

...........MDA!

With Peace and Love friends :meditate:

I am grateful for the very lengthy and productive back-and-forth conversation I had this evening with my father, while visiting him.

I hated my father, all through my childhood, and through my teenage years.

He was always working, and when he was home, when I was younger, he was drunk and angry.

We often came to blows.

Now that he's retired, we've been getting much closer. I've been helping him out a lot around the house. We also do some contracting/home improvement work together. We've been getting a lot closer.

For a long time, all I ever wanted was to spend time with my father. To know him. To learn from him.

Now we've been doing that.

I am truly grateful for this. I would hate for him to pass away and for me to consider not attending his funeral, or feeling hatred for him to the end of my days. He's a good man. He's so much like myself. I'm OK with that.

This makes me so Happy to hear! I crave this so badly with my Father to no avail. His excuse this passed weekend was I couldn't come over because the toilet isn't working, and that he would call if he could come over Saturday or Sunday. He calls Monday saying that same old stuff. I no longer have my Mom or Sister here on Earth, so I really Love seeing Family's that actually care and Love each other. When I see otherwise I'm thinking "Be kind and grateful, you don't realize what you have."

I'm grateful for this Sun shiny Day. About to go catch a nice cool breeze.

I'm grateful to have something to look forward too.

I'm grateful for creativity and imagination, luck, and Love.

It's been a hard couple weeks....and I just rembered this thread.

I'm greatful for the smile on my face caused by the home brew other bear and I make because it brings us together, by weed this girl brought to camp because it has made me stop thinking of the things bringing me down, and by the warmth of the camp fire where I sit with with friends

Grateful,

...that the munchies eventually do go away...

...for being mostly functional, most of the time...

...for this physical existence that we call life...

I know that when I am feeling sad, like I'm missing out, it is time to count my blessings.

I am grateful for the love of friends and true family.  I am quite blessed to have a few people who really, really love me.

I am grateful to be privileged enough to be in college, as much as I regret the decision to go I know that it creates an opportunity.

I am grateful that I have been exposed to so much great music in the last four years.

I am grateful to know that I make my own choices and think the thoughts that create my reality.

I have just had one of the most awesome weeks of my life, in no small part due to completing a major pile of work which is off my shoulders and to friends, so here is my gratitude for today:

  1. People that you have not seen in years and suddenly appear in your life again and are even more totally aweseome than when you knew them before
  2. Vacation
  3. The varied and rich choices we have these days in deciding how to nourish ourselves
