So I picked the aborts, rehydrated the sub for a couple hours, and now more fruits are on their way. But I'm wondering about the mycilium...the color is a little off, yellowish. It could be just damaged from picking and soaking and worn out from the first flush but I'm not sure. What do y'all think?

Great grow, I read the entire grow log.

Sometimes we can mess with them too much.

Really wish you would have let that first flush finish strong.

The finish is the best part IMO.

Nice job!!

Looks good Vikings, I'm sorry I wasn't paying better attention as well. Way to get'er done brother, nice job pulling it off.

And I agree with Warfrat, you should be fine and be well on your way to flush two.

Congrats!

Thanks! Learned a lot on my first bulk grow, second grow in total...still learning too! What do you mean let it finish? Things seemed to be at a stand still. There were at least 50 aborts which seamed strange..

By finish strong I just mean give them a few more days.

You can see in the attached a couple pics of Brazils

in my bags from a grow sometime back.

First pic shows some decent shrooms of all sizes.

2nd pic shows how they all finish strong by fighting for space

and light and reaching for the sky to build a canopy.

Most seem to finish strong if you let them.

A lot of aborts are pretty common from my experience with bulk grows.

I know a lot of people want to harvest before the veil breaks

and all that...but to each their own. I prefer a LOT more shrooms.

Second flush coming strong! So let them all mature before picking the big ones?

looking good bro! you can, or you can pick them when you want. the only prob is when you try n pick one it usually pulls up a whole cluster. just be careful and you can pick the big ones and leave the rest to mature

Just a thought. If picked befor vail opens the store better as in they dont crumble cause the caps get so dry they turn to dust. If the cap is intact they hold their form better and less powder in the bag. ..just sayin but ya to each their own. ......
