Coming on the heels of the Quantum Computing thread, I wanted to start a new topic to address some of the issues we've been experiencing as we fine tune and tweak the settings to give us the best possible performance. Because the inherent technology behind what we're doing is off-server caching, in order to provide minor offline capabilities as well as faster global performance, any settings we adjust may take a day or three to take *actual* affect on your local computer systems and mobile devices.
I would like to ensure everyone there is nothing to be 'paranoid' about
We are unfortunately working in a live environment, and while it's exciting to see the changes taking place slowly, and right before your eyes, the other side to that awesome coin is you're all effectively "beta" testers since there will be errors, omissions, downtime, and general freakiness while we work through the new tech.
We appreciate your posting and letting us know there are issues, and we are paying attention and addressing them as quickly as possible; it's just that nothing we can do here is an instant fix and likely any changes we can make will take days to propagate.
The tl;dr version: We recognize that this new addition, like any other, comes with its own bumps. We see the effects of this. We are doing everything we can to mitigate and tweak the system ongoing, however, any changes we make are likely *days* from change -> end user due to the caching technology.
We are working on things, and we appreciate your patience and support while we get all this new tech online.
