Hello, and welcome to the Mad Scientist Forum.

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for advanced experiments in home mycology. This forum is intended to be a safe place to play around, for people to experiment and learn, and try new things. Experimental grows in the Mad Scientist Forum won't be held to the Scientific Method, and thus won't be treated too seriously. If you think you're really on to something, once it has been established and proven off to the Myco Lab you go. This forum is intended for advanced experiments, once the concept is proven by repeatable results then we will move to Myco Lab for a more serious setting.

Basic Rules to post in this forum:

1. As always, be respectful and open minded. If your going to point out a huge misconception or silly mistake on someone's part, do it nicely. This is intended to be a place for advanced ideas to move us forward in mycology, and for growers to try non-standard growing techniques, After a concept has shown results to be moved to the Myco Lab for comment.  Please keep a serious setting here. No flaming or rude comments will be tolerated.

2. Use this forum for non-standard methods of cultivation. The reason for this is we don't want to confuse new growers any more than they already are by posting weird grows in the normal cultivation forums, new growers will know this forum is oddball and unproven stuff.

3. Keep your unproven methods confined to the Mad Scientists Forum, From here we review to move to Myco Lab and do an actual scientific experiment, thus proving or disproving your methods. <----- this is exactly what we are hoping happens, new methods getting birthed here and then legitimized in the Myco Lab, moving mycology forward.

Most of the threads that were in the Myco Lab are moved to this forum. Thanks everyone for your participation. Any questions, please feel free to private message me or any of the Staff.

Happy Growing,
